Hi everyone!

I thought it was about time to start a blog, and how fitting to start it on the first of the month! I have so much that I want Happy First to be. I want it to be a salutation that people just say to each other on the first of the month-”happy july 1st! happy august 1st!” whatever, to make people reflect about  a new month and new beginnings and the potential they have inside of them. that is why we picked the egg logo (sorry, i am switching to all lower case, i type faster that way) -the egg represents new beginnings, or breaking out of your shell. i truly believe that everyone has a creative talent of some sort, just waiting to burst out! i hope that by wearing my clothes and going to my site and using my ecards and wallpaper etc. that people can become inspired to be what they really want to be. i would like happy first to become much more interactive, through my site ( www.happyfirst.com ) my blog, my facebook page (happy first) or twitter (happyfirst – one word on twitter) -i want people to write in their stories of what they have been through or are pursuing, what makes them excited about life! part of my story is i went through hodgkin’s lymphoma 14 years ago when my kids were very small. it sure made me realize how precious life is and what a gift it is! i have always been an optimist. i feel like i went through it to encourage others.i know i am supposed to do something with my experience. i have always had a drive to do something with my life.  we contribute to leukemia and lymphoma research.this is a cause i feel strongly about.  but my site is not really about cancer, it is about happiness! and the pursuit! ok, i want to make this blog all colorful and everything, but i think sometimes people (i am guilty of this) wait until everything is just perfect before they act. well, it is the first of the month, so i need to do it today. i am super busy between gift shows (dallas last week, atlanta next) that if i keep waiting, it wont get started! so here is my first blog! sorry to be so rambling! i would love to hear your comments and life experiences!
